NY gov could face charge over World Series tickets (AP)

Blasts hit World Cup watchers in Uganda, kill 64 (AP)

The first verbal police report on the scene speaks of two killed and several injured, including possibly two western guests of the restaurant. The bomb went off shortly before the break at the world cup soccer final match. Many people gathered at the restaurant at this time to watch the football game taking place in South Africa. .(AP Photo/Marcv Hoafer)AP – Simultaneous explosions tore through crowds watching the World Cup final at a rugby club and an Ethiopian restaurant, killing at least 64 people including one American, officials said. Police feared an al-Qaida-linked Somali militant group was behind the attacks.

One American was killed and several were wounded.
