It was Sept. 16, 1960, the eve of first meeting between the Jets and Patriots, and years before the ugly rivalry it is today, when Gino Cappelletti got his first taste of New York hospitality. Cappelletti, then a 26-year-old defensive back for the Boston Patriots, had just arrived in the Big Apple for the game against the Titans at the Polo Grounds the next evening.

Feds: Brakes weren’t applied on crashed NY Prius (AP)
