Beware of the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday

Alternate side parking rules are suspended Thursday. All city parking rules are in effect Friday. It’s all quiet on the roads and crossings Thanksgiving morning with families sleeping in before heading out to Thanksgiving dinner starting in the early afternoon. Drivers in Midtown, Times Square and upper West Side will have to contend with a variety of closures for the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

A-Rod to return, but will sit Thursday
