The Miami Dolphins stink. It’s true. They said it themselves or at least Reggie Bush did after they became the first team since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to blow a 15-point lead in the final three minutes of a game last Sunday. Bush said “We stink” which led safety Yeremiah Bell to angrily responds “He stinks.” … which led Bush to counter “I do stink. We all stink.”

‘Really close’ to debt deal as deadline nears (AP)
AP – Racing to avoid a government default, President Barack Obama and Republican congressional leaders reached urgently for a compromise Sunday to permit vital borrowing by the Treasury in exchange for more than $2 trillion in long-term spending cuts. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said the two sides were “really, really close” to a deal after months of partisan fighting.
