GOP bigs predict an extension of payroll  tax cut that’s a Democratic priority 

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Congress will extend the payroll tax cut — even as he defended provisions in the House proposal the Obama administration opposes.

“I believe we should extend the payroll tax holiday another year,” McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, said Sunday on “Fox News Sunday.”
