DENPASAR, Indonesia (Reuters) – Indonesian police shot dead five suspected militants on the resort island of Bali overnight who had identified and surveyed targets for attack, the national counter terrorism agency said on Monday. The group was linked to the banned Jemaah Islamiah group, blamed for nightclub bombings on Bali in 2002 that killed more than 200 people, mostly Australian tourists, said officials.
