Don’t count MLB commish among Jeter critics
Some MLB officials may be disappointed with Derek Jeter’s decision not to attend All-Star festivities in Arizona this week, but Commissioner Bud Selig isn’t one of them. “There isn’t a player in the last 15 years that I’ve been more proud of Derek Jeter,” Selig said during a meeting with the Baseball Writers Association of America Tuesday morning. “I think I would have made the same decision.”
