Bon Iver blows off Grammy Awards, rejecting performance inquiry, says front man Justin Vernon  

Bon Iver, a critically acclaimed indie group, shed their soothing folk-melody aura to tell the Grammys, ‘F— you!’ “We kind of said ‘f— you’ a little bit and they sort of acted like they wanted us to play, but I don’t think they wanted us to play,” the group’s front man, Justin Vernon, told Billboard magazine Thursday.

Emmy 2011: ‘Modern Family’ snags lion’s share of awards

ABC’s comedy “Modern Family” jumped out to an early lead Sunday night with four awards at the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The critically praised comedy earned Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy honors for stars Ty Burell and Julie Bowen, who play husband and wife on the show. “Modern Family” also won the Emmys for best direction and best writing of a comedy.
