CC staying in Bronx, agrees to 5-yr, $122 million deal

The Yankees’ ace is staying put. CC Sabathia agreed Monday night to a five-year, $122 million deal with the Yankees that adds $30 million to his existing contract. Sabathia had until midnight to opt out of his current agreement, which had $92 million remaining over the next four years at $23 million per year, but chose to accept the offer the Yankees put on the table on Sunday.”
