Yanks-Tigers suspended as Game 1 all wet

Thanks to the rain, Friday night’s playoff opener was simply a dry run. Torrential rains forced the suspension of Friday night’s Game 1 of the ALDS at Yankee Stadium with the game tied at 1-1 entering the bottom of the second inning. The game will be picked up Saturday night at 8:37 p.m. in the bottom of the second inning. Game 2 will now be Sunday at the Stadium with a 3:07 p.m. start.
